Giles B. Gumbs, better known as "AKA Junior," died on Sunday, Oct. 14.
He is survived by his mother, Ostina George; father, Giles B. Gumbs Sr.; sister, Lesmora Springette; nephew, Jorden Hearn; aunts: Manuela Rembert, Charlene Gumbs and Cavelle Gumbs; grandmother, Catherine Gumbs; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Wesleyan Methodist Church. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.
Funeral arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
