SEA Offers Free Snorkel Clinic and Bat Watch

Join the St. Croix Environmental Association (SEA) this Saturday, Oct. 20 for a free public snorkel clinic at Rainbow Beach, and on Friday, Oct. 26, for a free bat watch at Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge. Both are great activities for the entire family.
For those who haven’t made it to a SEA public snorkel clinic yet, this is the last chance for 2012. Environmental education activities on the beach and snorkeling begin at 10 a.m. and finish at noon. All abilities are welcome: school age to adult. There will be a lifeguard present. Although not required, reservations are much appreciated.

Come and get a close up look at bats! Guest speaker Jennifer Valiulis will provide information about common bats of the V.I. Bring the whole family for this pre-Halloween learning experiecen which will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. Free for all; donations are appreciated.
Call Lynnea Roberts at 773-1989 for more information and to make your family’s reservation. SEA’s public snorkel clinics are sponsored by Reef Jam.
