UVI Classes Operating on a Normal Schedule

The University of the Virgin Islands is operating under normal conditions Wednesday evening. Classes are taking place on a regular schedule.
Due to the approach of Tropical Storm Isaac, precautions are being taken to safeguard equipment and materials on the St. Croix campus. As a result, the St. Croix campus library and computer labs will close early Wednesday, at 7 p.m.
The Paiewonsky Library on the St. Thomas campus and the St. John Academic Center will remain open until 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Classes are scheduled to take place Thursday on St. Thomas, St. Croix and at the St. John Academic Center.
Faculty, staff and students are being reminded to monitor announcements on the UVI Emergency Hotlines (693-1016 on St. Thomas and 692-4168 on St. Croix), to stay tuned to local radio stations and to access the UVI Web site’s home page for further updates.
