Travis Bartlet, 30, was arrested about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday and charged with first degree assault in connection with domestic violence, the Police Department said Thursday in a press release. Bartlet‘s arrest came after his estranged wife told police that he assaulted her by grabbing and touching her inappropriately.
Police said their investigation revealed that Bartlet allegedly went to his estranged wife’s home and grabbed her, pulled her into the bedroom and assaulted her.
Bartlet was denied bail due to the domestic violence law and he was remanded to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
