Mamadou Kimathi Dacosta Johnson Dies

We will be honoring and celebrating the life of our beloved Mamadou from 1:30-6 p.m. on Sunday, May 27, at Assembly Hall at Riverside Church, 490 Riverside Drive (between 120th and 122nd streets) New York 10027
Mamadou Kimathi Dacosta Johnson was taken from us in a tragic motor accident on St. Thomas, V.I. on April 29. Mamadou’s transition reminds us of the spontaneity and impermanence of life.
Let us come together to rejoice in the gift of his presence and appreciate the memories of the infinite joy he brought into our lives.
We join in love to uplift Mamadou’s spirit as he ascends to and through the spirit world, as it continues to regenerate the cycle of life here on earth.
The tribute will begin at 2:30p.m. If you would like to share memories, words, song or dance, please let us know by e-mailing: mamadouforever@gmail.com
It wouldn’t be a tribute to Mamadou without drumming, dancing and Capoeira, so please come ready! http://mamadoujohnson.memory-of.com/About.aspx
