Human Services Encourages Parents to Attend Head Start Trainings

The Department of Human Services Head Start Program is encouraging all parents and guardians –especially fathers — to attend Head Start’s Center Committee Training and Elections for their respective centers for the 2011 school year.
Improve your skills in leadership and communication, and develop a healthy relationship with your child in Head Start. Parents who participate also earn points toward the Parent and Father of the Year Contests.

Sept. 22, at Berg’s Home/Bovoni I and II from 8:30 to 9:30a.m.
Sept. 28, Bovoni from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Sept. 29, Wilhelm George I,II,III and IV from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Sept. 30, Sugar Estate I, II, III and IV from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Oct. 3, Savan from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m.
Oct. 4, Tutu from noon to 1 p.m.
Oct. 5, Knud Hansen I and II from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Oct. 6, Lindbergh Bay from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Oct. 7, Minnetta Mitchell I, II, III, IV and V from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
