12-Year-Old Girl Arrested for Stabbing Brother

Juvenile Bureau detectives on St. Thomas arrested a 12-year-old girl Monday and charged her with third-degree assault/domestic violence, for allegedly stabbing her older brother in both legs with a knife.

The incident happened at a private residence in Estate Frenchman’s Bay, according to the V.I. Police Department.

The victim, a teenager, was transported to the Roy Schneider Regional Medical Center for treatment and was released.

The girl was arrested at about 7 p.m. and then released into her parent’s custody pending her court appearance in Juvenile Court.
