Louis Simeon Dead at 67

Louis Simeon

Louis "Lewis" Simeon age 67 of LBJ Gardens died on July 7, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 66 years old.

He is survived by his daughter, Shelbourne Simeon; son, Roy Simeon; grandchildren: Jafari Johnson, DyQuan St. Louis and Jaidyn Simeon; great-grandchild, Josiah Johnson; sisters: Marilyn Donawa, Shirley Marcus, Dolores Hansen and Senator Alicia "Chucky" Hansen; brothers: Joseph Marcus, Lorne "Chunky" and Wade "Tex" Harrigan, Kenneth "Chubby" and Enrique "Pinky" Williams, and Dennis Simeon; aunt, Louise Simeon; uncle, Lewis Simeon aka “Sheep” and Rene Simeon.
He is also survived by nieces: Norma Pickard Samuel, Donna and Myrna Pickard, Lerena Donawa-James, Emily, Ericka, Ena and Evette Hansen, Rachel Sealy, Latoya Tonge, Chantel Harrigan, Roslynn Daniel, Tricia and Knatasha Harrigan, Kenya, Natasha and Akeena Williams, and Elizabeth Watley; nephews: Clarence Jr. and Alfred Donawa, Elvis Hansen, Noel and Ray Harrigan, Malik, Nakeem, Enrique Jr. and Michael Williams, and Esdel Jr., Erskin and Ericksen Hansen; brothers-in-law: Clarence Donawa Sr. and Esdel Hansen Sr.; cousins: Myrtle Knight and family, Anita Nibbs, Ethlind Brown and Uyrlee Burke; Jacquiline and Jazmine Simeon, Sen. Patrick Simeon Sprauve and the Boschulte family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 25, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Christiansted. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
