Violet E. Todman Callwood of Jode died on May 26 at her residence. She was 93 years old.
She is survived by stepdaughter, Maria Callwood; stepson, Arnold Callwood; step grandchildren: Glenn Thomas, Glenise Bernard, Una Thomas Scoggins, Lena Thomas, Edelta Garcia, Antonio Callwood, Ebony Malcolm, Monifa, Shanifia and Hakim Callwood; four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Gertrude Parson and Edna Callwood; niece, Gladys M. Todman; nephews: Austin, Leroy, Jens, Guillermo, Maxwell, Ishmael, Allan, Kenny and Charles Todman; great nieces: Denise Dawson, Willamae, Jennifer and Laurel Dawson, Moretta Dawson Fahie, Elrita “Tintin” Callwood-Hart, Eurita “Wewe” Callwood-Wilson and Dolores Todman; great nephews: Elwyn and Darrel Dawson; special friend, Mildred Vaughn; and many other relatives and friends.
A viewing will begin at 8 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 10, at Christchurch Methodist in Market Square. Interment will be in the Western Cemetery No. 1.
