This will be the Virgin Islands Montessori School’s (VIMSIA) first graduating class after implementing the two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) for 11th and 12th grades in the fall of 2009. Our graduates have completed the two year IBDP program and will not only receive their Middle States High School Diploma but will also be candidates to receive their International Baccalaureate High School Diploma.
This is a major endeavor for VIMSIA after 47 years of delivering quality education to the Virgin Islands. The school is proud and confident that its graduating class will continue to carry the school’s torch” “Education for Life.”
A celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 11, at Coral World Marine Park. Nine graduates in total will attend college in fall 2011.*All students are full International Baccalaureate Diploma Program candidates.
