Sgt. 1st Class Dave Alphonso Hansen
Sgt. 1st Class Dave Alphonso Hansen, also known as "Black Attack” or “Blue Man," of Germany died on Monday, April 25. He was 37 years old.
He is survived by his companion, Julia Grazia, mother, Tedra Gerard; father, Almanzo Hansen; son: David Jahmal Hansen; grandparent, Marvin Mabinouri; sisters: Elaine Sewen, Rynel Prescott and Alice Libert; brother, Adrian Gerard; nieces: Monifa Veira, Naima Chase, Ashley Georges and Jahmalia Barnes; nephews: Emmett Bramble Jr., Julian Viera Jr. and Omaily Barnes; great nieces: O’Mayah and K’Myah Barnes; great nephews: Brian and Nicholai Chase, and Nichai Bramble; aunts: Clarissa Nixon, Anna James, Bernadette and Velleta Hansen, Doreen Barnard, Juanita Williams, Doreen Gerard, Elizabeth Tutein-Simmonds and Valema T. Rawlins; and uncles: Clemence Gerard Jr., Alphonso Hansen, Joseph and Randolph Rawlins, and Ira James.
He is also survived by special friends: Johnny Clenance and Rashidi Clenance, Tyrone and Hasani Allick, Mark and Sammy Samuel, James Chiverton, Donald Bough, David Bermudez, George Chiverton, Deron Francis, Dale Browne and the Ujima family; cousins and other relatives: Elroy and Delarine Gerard, Sherry, Jasmine, Henry, Selah, Colin, Sandra, Brenda, Gustave, Hilberto, Marsha, Battiste, Rose, Dortois, Doris, Alvin, Marie, Leona, Amy, Leon, Oliver, Level, Orila, Angelo, Darrell, Lenny, Lonny, Kate, Dale, Jamal, Ninette, Nadine, Annette, Liba, Raine, Zane Jr., Zena, Ray, Ali, Zahna, Marie, Micha and Meral; special cousins: Queen Anderson, Norah and Kenneth Nixon; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 8:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, at the Friedensthal Moravian Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery, Veterans Section.
