CAHS Holds Mandatory Orientation for Incoming Freshmen

Charlotte Amalie High School will hold a mandatory meeting andorientation session for eighth graders who expect to be freshmen at CAHS during the 2011-2012 school year and their parents, according to a press release from Carmen Howell, principal of CAHS.
The orientation will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, in the Ruth E. Thomas Auditorium. Students must be accompanied by and remain with their parents for the duration of the meeting. All students mustbe properly attired in their school uniforms to be admitted. Howell said, “Important information will be shared on expectations, regulations, uniforms and career preparation. Students and parents will also select courses for the upcoming school year, receive math summer assignments and purchase the requisite two novels for summer reading.”
