Summer Food Service Program Seeks Participants

Applications are now available for participation in the 2011 Summer Feeding Program. The free feeding service is available to programs and camp sites that serve children ages 2-18 and special needs children up to age 21. The program will run from June27 to Aug. 5.
Interested persons may pick up applications at the School Lunch Office located below Education Headquarters at 2133 Hospital Street, Christiansted, according to a press release from Nealda Bowry, district director of the Child Nutrition Program on St. Croix.

The Summer Food Service Program is funded by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service, and is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
