Franklin Retaldo Parris Dies in Puerto Rico

Franklin Retaldo Parris
Franklin Retaldo Parris, also known as "Big Junie," died on Tuesday, March 22, in Puerto Rico. He was 64 years old.
He is survived by his sisters: Mary E. Krigger and Elita Parris-Todman; brother, Emile Lewis; brothers-in-law: Otto Gittens Sr. and Maxwell Todman; nieces: Joyce, Arlene, Zina, Colleen, Myrna, Beverly, Janis, Desiree, Rhea and Cherise; nephews: Raymond, Carl Jr., Otto Jr. Maurice, Elston, Wendell, Darwin, Elroy Gary, Lucien, Elwin, Russell and Dexton; as well as many other nieces and nephews too numerous to mention; special friend, Yvonne M. Samuel; friends: the Bess and Hendricks families; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 14, at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
All arrangements are by James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
