Exploratory Meeting to Create Summer Art Institute Planned

Plans for a unique St. Croix Summer Art Institute are being explored with the goal of reaching out to West-end youngsters between the ages of 13-17. This community art program is a cooperative venture between UVI, Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and the Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts, and it could result in a public art project. Parents and teen-artists who are interested in this creative summer opportunity are invited to attend an exploratory meeting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, in the Northwest Wing Building at UVI, Room 102.
