Viola Rosita Phillips, also known as “Sita,” died on Feb. 10 at Schneider Regional Medical Center. She was 64 years old.
She is survived by sons: Kirt and Dave Phillips; daughters-in-law: Lashaun Phillips and Donna Julien; grandchildren: Shequanna McCoy and Shanyla Pearson; sisters: Joan Warner-Griffin, Jackie Warner Paris and Tricia Estavan; brothers: Earl Warner and Elsworth Sutton; nephews: Shaun Griffin and Shane Griffin; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The first viewing will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a second viewing held at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at noon on Thursday, Feb. 17, at Faith Wesleyan Holiness Church. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
