Duane Bruce, also known as "Bobo," of Lorraine Village died on April 5. He was 31 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Pearl Bruce; soulmate, Shemika Nathaniel; children: Deiwaan, Kmani, K’nyah and Meckayra; sisters: Desiree, Licia, Caran, Edowin and Annabelle; brothers: Michael, Glenn and Phillip; nieces and nephews: Ashley, Tatyanna, Latisha, Keyana, Elisha, Jalicia, Jarid, Makeya, Shantel, Rochelle, Antony, Zarah, Khalayah, Elvis Jr., Tray, Malik, Makai, Ke’sean, I’mani and Ashlyn; and great nephew, Jaylin. He is also survived by aunts: Jasmin Connor, Debra Hatcher and Ingrid Hatcher; uncle, Stanley Warren; special friends: Melo, Vince, Tuhoon, Twiggy, Nene, Rick, Dave, Metro, Ted, Joshua, Asman, Hybs, Marvin, Arthur and Babow; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 22, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the KingshillCemetery.
