Celia E. Brow Dead at 80

Celia E. Brow Celia E. Brow of Smithfield died on Saturday, March 27, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 80 years old.

She is survived by her children: Cleo Jarvis, George Anthony, Dave A. Cornelius, Lateefah Collingwood, Deborah Corry, Desserie Brow-Hendrickson and Theresse Brow; grandchildren: Fahnon Jarvis-Bennett, Jason P., Fahnon, Jerrisse, Antonet and Jeron Anthony, Dave Jr. and Devin Cornelius, Masai and Talitha Sackey, Keetwanah Collingwood, Demyra, Celida, Kayanna and Terrianna Brow-Hendrickson, Yan Corry Jr. and Brianna Bruce; brothers and sisters: Samuel A. Jr., Vere, Garfield, Lorenzo, Janette, Jerome and Ruthlyn Anthony; and nieces and nephews: Torene, Ricardo, Revere, Renel, Christopher, Reianna, Sydai, Trevone, Trevessa, Brent, Talia, Akeliha, Samantha, Clinton Jr., Michael Porter, Lauren-Ann, Loraine, Deon, Vere Jr., Trevor, Alana, Jennifer, Rylis, Elvis, Joseph, Craig, Borris, Linda, Vaun, Sheila, Kurt, Delroy, Delrie, Michelle, Garfield Jr., Sandra and Jason Anthony. She is also survived by great nieces and great nephews: Arion and Vere Anthony III; uncles and aunts: Robin, Arthur, Pat and Keith Yearwood, and Elaine Gomes; cousins: Janet, Sonia, Lucinda, Charlene, Phillip, Elery, Dolma and Dale Thomas, Beryl Bennett, Geraldine Jonas-Simon, Barbara Flemming, Condon and Edwin Joseph, and Janell T. Yearwood; as well as sons-in-law and daughters-in law: Myron Hendrickson, Charles Collingwood, Yan Corry and Elsie Anthony. Other survivors include: extended family: the Entire Brow and Moorehead family, Marlon Keith Bruce, Cynthia Hughes, Sonia, Hattie, Laverne and the Malone family, the Hendrickson family, the Corry family, Carmen Contreras, Alisha Massicot and Jerose Nicholas; special freinds: Diane Andrews and the Andrews family, Diana and Lynn Cupid, the Jones family, Cyril Williams, Helen and Claudius Smith, Inez Armstrong and family, Rev. Dr. Reuben and Sister Vessup, Neldeen Techeira, Iris Donohue, Idalia St. Luce, Dorothy Gadson, Dr. Chenzira Kahina, Sen. St. Claire Williams and family, Adelia Rodney, Liz Galiber, MaryAnn and Colin Thornley, the Rawlins famiy, the Francis family, Mario and Elba George, and the Massicot family; in-laws: Charlene Henderson, Christian Brow and Lloyd Brow; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The family requests that mourners wear festive colors.
Tributes will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 10, at the Friedensfeld Moravian Church. Interment will follow at the Frederiksted Cemetery.
