Ramona LeBron Dies at 49

Ramona LeBron, better known as “Mamie,” of Estate Fortuna died on Sunday, March 14. She was 49 years old. She was born on Oct. 22, 1961 in Washington, D.C., to Barbara Williams and Angel LeBron.

She is survived by her mother, Dr. Barbara W. LeBron; father, Angel LeBron; daughters: L’Tasha m. Huyghue and Aisha K. Gomez; son, Asky K. Gomez; grandfather, Andre LeBron; grandchildren: KiMone Emanuel, Kenrich Huyghue Jr. and Kenzi Huyghue; son-in-law, Kenrick Huyghue; sisters: Monica LeBron-David, Kysha LeBron, Anya L. LeBron, Danielle Wilbert and Astia LeBron. She is also survived by aunts: Joyce LeBron and Maryann Lebron; uncles: John E. McCleverty Sr. and Joseph Williams; brother-in-law, Lauritz David Sr.; nephews: Lauritz David Jr., Amiri David, Emmanuel Coffie Jr., Elijah Rhoden and Ethan Wilbert. She is also survived by cousins: Barbara Pinney, Andrea leBron, Edwaldo LeBron Jr., Lori Anderson and Jasmin Frett; adopted mother, Elodia Fenner; adopted children: Kymberly Martin, Juan Joey Montes III, Nailah Malone, Leroy Kelo Thomas III and Regina Watson; adopted grandchildren: Tiann, Kairi, tori and Sejayi Huyghue, Jahnajade, Jahniqwa and Jahjadey Hodge and Rayqwan Christopher; godchildren: Mikyba Cooper, Minkah Harmer, D’Shante Joseph, Adanie Smith, Kirabo Stephens; special friends: Michele Harmer, Flavel Blyden, Lilia King, Claude Daniel, Richard Gomez, Chester Callwood, Curtis Prince, Gloria Stagger, Janna Niles and Erika Smith; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held from 8-10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 29 at Nisky Moravian Church. Interment will be at Nisky Moravian Cemetery.
All funeral arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home, 774-1464.
