Hernan Santos Jr. Dies at 44

Hernan Santos Jr.Hernan Santos Jr., also known as "Puchy," of Castle Burke died on Feb. 28. He was 44 years old.

He is survived by his spouse, Sherry Florentine Payne; mother, Lillian Santos; father, Hernan Santos Sr.; grandmother, Carmen Nieves; daughter, Denisha Santos; sons: Jaime Santos, Omar Santos and Allan Wilson; sisters: Ivelisse Gigi Santos-Jenkins and Lizette Lizy Santos; and brothers: Jaime Cholo Santos, Louie T. Bryce Jr. and JanCarlo Santos. He is also survived by sisters-in-law: Jessica Payne, Janine Perez-Santos, Sylvanie, Paulette and Monica; brothers-in-law: Ronald Jenkins, Lenroy Payne, Slyvan Greene and Willet Payne; nieces: Leana Feliciano, Jenelle Santos, Jenee Santos, Faith Harry, K’Desha Greenidge and Janelli Santos; nephews: Steve Sobers, Shane Sobers and Justin Jenkins; aunts; Gloria Fredricks, Maria Rodriquez, Carmen Rivera, Ida Rodriquez, Nilsa Rivera, Milagros, Nydia, Carmen, Noelia, Corporina, Felipa, Nora Lebron, Iris and Paulina Santos; and uncles: Francisco Rodriquez, Jorge Rodriquez, Rafael Santos, Roberto, Efrain, Pablo and Ruben Santos. Other survivors include godchildren: Akeem Green, Keynisha and Christian Nieves; cousins and other relatives: Jorge, Leopold, Phyliss Fredricks, Maritza Pedro, Bernissa Rodriquez, Daisy Rivera, Francisco, Rodney Rivera, Nelson, Jessica, Eric Morales, Rene Rivera and Marc Davis; special friends: Andy Morales, the Traxco family, Sen, Adelbert Bryan, Thomian, Henry, Vivo, Dr. Olaf Hendricks, Eric, Marion Erickson, Janice Roberts, Guava, St. Croix and St. Thomas Horse Man, the Bates family, the Payne family, Harrigan and the Castle Burke community; as well as o relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
