Christiana Simon Dies at 63

Christiana Simon of St. Georges died on Feb. 10. She was 63 years old.

She is survived by her spouse, Leo J. Simon; children: Linroy Simon, Orlene Simon, Dawn Simon, Terry Simon, Kevin Simon and Kenvis Simon; grandchildren: Linroy Simon Jr., Lydaira Simon, Lynecia Simon, Lyneil Simon,Venisha Joseph, Vernicia Joseph, Vincent Joseph, Darnell Benjamin, Da’Vaughn Benjamin, D’Nai Everett, Destynee Corbett, Shinirah Simon, Kevin Simon Jr. and Kayla Simon; siblings: Alfred Edwards, Elroy Edwards, Ezekiel Edwards, Prestico Edwards, Eric Edwards, Eutricemay Pryce; Itlaine Edwards, Nehemiah Edwards, Veneta Stevens and Zanda Williams; and adopted brothers: Pastor Orville Joseph and brothers. She is also survived by nieces: Joyce Edwards Hobson, Josette Edwards, Roshida Edwards, Sheba Edwards, Zeta Edwards, Zolien Edwards, Sandy Griffith, Rhonda Pryce, Marisa Pryce, Karen Pryce, Cynthia Benjamin, Ceceila Oxable and Elerine Stevens; nephews: Alj Edwards, Jaynia Edwards, Andy Edwards, Roderick Edwards, Kerry Edwards, Wendell Edwards, Randolph Pryce, Andy Williams, Vivi Williams and Leroy Joseph; sisters-in-law: Loistine Edwards, Camilita Edwards, Julian Edwards, Cynthia Edwards, Delsta Edwards and Stephanie Williams; daughter-in-law, Tamika Simon; special cousins: Celestine Carr and family, and Daisy Simon; and cousins: Christiana Frederick, Elmina Henry, Ruth Tonge, Mary Tonge Challenger, Annetta Joseph, the Edwards family, Claudette and the Adams family, Alfred Richards and family, Solomon Johnson and family, Irma Francis and family, and Levi Johnson and family. Other survivors include special friends: Gertrude Roberts, Fernella Campbell, Mary Thomas, Annette Phillip, Pastor Orville Fleming, Carrie Wharton, Pearl Lescott, Yvette and Maithland Joseph, Genevieve Andrews, Naomi Carr, Gloria Bruney, Rachael Caleb, Lynette Clairmont, Mr. and Mrs. Hilius Charles, Helena Roberts, Marilyn Simon and family, Blondell Browne, Uriah Jacobs, the Ridgeway family, the Bethel Church family, the Central Church family, all the other Seventh-day Adventist Church families; as well as other relatives, friends and neighbours too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 21, at the Bethel Seventh-day Adventist Church, Williams Delight. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
