Crime Stoppers Needs Your Help

Crime Stoppers is asking your help to solve the following crimes. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what law enforcement needs to solve these cases.

St. Croix:
There has been a recent spate of shootings that have left two young men dead and several others hospitalized. Help detectives find the perpetrators and put an end to this violence. If you have any information about these killings, please call. The minimum reward for the arrest of a homicide suspect is $1,250.

St. John:
Police are requesting the community’s help in identifying the burglar of a residence on Jan. 11 at 7:15 p.m. at a villa in Maho Bay. The suspect entered the residence through an unlocked door and stole a black purse with a lizard finish that contained three credit cards, a driver’s license, and $700 cash. The minimum reward for an arrest is $714.

St. Thomas:
Police need additional information to identify the killer(s) of a male who was shot to death in the area of PMP basketball court on Dec. 19, 2009 at about 5:40 a.m. Please help police identify the killer(s). The minimum reward for an arrest is $1,250.
Community members can submit tips to Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). The tips are completely anonymous, and the stateside operators are bilingual. Tipsters can also submit tips online at www.CrimeStoppersUSVI.org or by texting “USVI” plus your message to CRIMES (274637). If a tip leads to an arrest or the recovery of stolen property, illegal drugs, or weapons, the tipster receives a cash reward to be paid according to their instructions. Only anonymous callers to Crime Stoppers are eligible for these cash rewards.
