Olive Angelina Petersen Henderson Dies in Miami

Olive Angelina Petersen HendersonOlive Angelina Petersen Henderson of St. Croix died on Dec. 22, at The Metropolitan Hospital in Miami, Florida. She was 84 years old.

She is survived by her daughter, Edwina Viola McFarlane-DeJesus; son-in-law, Luis R. DeJesus; grandchildren: Richard Luis DeJesus and Myriam Christine DeJesus; great-grandchild, Ethan Luis DeJesus; sister, Louise Thomas; and sister-in-law, Angela McFarlande-Gregory. She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Grace McIntosh, Ken McIntosh, Neal Thomas, Myron Thomas, Jacqueline Thomas-Miller, Kenneth, Ashley and Dawn Andrews, Tawana and Jordan Albany, and Michelle Crispin; special great nieces and nephews: Faith Andrews-Jatio, Diane Andrews and Donna Andrews-Dennehy, Jason McIntosh, Dean Andrews, Kai Nielsen, Kareem Andrews, Ralph Nielsen and Foluke Authorton. Other survivors include special friends: Jane Farrely, Lucinda Benjamin, Olivia Henry, Muriel Richards, Mary Seals, Rev. Florence Petersen, Hector Ledesma, Jeffrey Davis, Elvira Flores, Aloma Peters and Aleta Beharry; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 8:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Frederiksted. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
