Kerisa Maria Smith-Grayson Dies at 30

Kerisa Maria Kerisa Maria Smith-GraysonSmith-Grayson of Anchorage, Alaska, died on Nov. 29. She was 30 years old.

She is survived by her spouse, Shamarcus Grayson; mother, Susanna Callwood-Smith; father, Harold E. Smith Sr.; grandparents: Rita L. Callwood and Verne Callwood Sr., and Marion M. Smith; sisters: Harolyn E. Smith, Michelle Smith-Riley, Tamara Smith and Norah Smith, M.D.; brothers: Kenneth V. Weeks Sr. and Harold E. Smith Jr.; sisters-in-law: Vilma Weeks and Shirelle Grayson; brother-in-law, Sherman Grayson; nephews: Kenneth V. Weeks Jr. and Harold E. Smith III; mother-in-law, Antonaitt Grayson; and father-in-law, Clarence Grayson. She is also survived by aunts: Verna T. Callwood, Jestina Vanterpool-Selkridge, Catherine F. Callwood, Lisa Lewis, Elisa M. Smith, Paulette E. Hodge, Alfreda S. Oversen, Beverly E. Smith-Stalluard, Louella E. Smith-Rabsatt and Marjorie E. Smith; great aunts: Alice S. Nielsen and Margarita Dennery; uncles: Ken E. Lloyd, Kenneth Selkridge Sr., Verne R. Callwood Jr., Glen Vanterpool, Peter Lewis, Herbert E. Smith and Alphonse J. Stalliard; great uncles: Alphonse Lambert and Joseph Lambert; cousins: Dorsity M. Dowell, Kenneth E. Selkridge Jr., Kianna E. Selkridge, Sophia (Nia and Winston), Vince and Michelle (Vince Jr., Malik, Seane), Verne III, Victor, Vernon, Verdelle, L. A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 18, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
