Orville Robert Todman Sr. Dead at 79

Orville Robert Todman Sr.Orville Robert Todman Sr., also known as “Bobby,” of Sunny Isles Housing, Apt. 108, died. He was 79 years old.

He is survived by his daughters: Mona L. Todman-Monell, Lorraine Todman-James, Colette M. Todman-James, Zelda Todman and Linda M. Todman; sons: Orvill R. Todman Jr., Henry A. Todman and Robert Todman; stepchildren: Doreen Rodgers and Aquita Sarauw. He is also survived by grandchildren: Keema Krieger, Allen Monell, Stephen Williams, Lyla Monell, Diana Todmann-Simmonds, Taudia Nysha Todman, Tad Todman, Kijah Todman, Cy Todman, Ores Todman-Tadele, Zuri C. James, Zara C. James-Clarke, E’Dee O. Stout, Luther L. Lang, Lutrell L. Lang, and Jarryd and Jolene Todman; great-grandchildren: Xaia Todman, Cy Todman Jr., Kai, Kobe and K’mare Todman, Zoe Hiwot Gabrielle, Demari Bates, Marcus and Jalen Simmonds, Naia Crump, Indeyah, Ataijah, Abijah Jr. and Isaiah Todman, Tai’ Todman, Allen Ajani Monell, Syncere Patience Pettway Monell, Rakeeda James, Khalid James, Kowaun and Komaj Donadelle, Kiarah Victor, Jelani Coggins, David Hartage, Khalil E. X. James, Rakheda K. Clarke and others too numerous to mention; and sisters: Sylvia Brown and Kathleen Canton. Other survivors include nieces: Velma Dunbar, Marjorie Brown, Jurene Thomas, Julie Canton, Etta and Jean Todman, Michelle Hendricks, Dutchelle Drummond, Ulette Hodge and Laverne Todman; nephews: Louis Brown Jr., Jeffrey Canton, and Dawes and Michael Todman; special cousins and other relatives: Claire Todman Marshall, Marleen, Myrle Todman Hendricks, Winston Todman, Walter Todman, Gaynel Turner and family, Alice Maynard and family, Anna Phillipus and family, the Jacobs family, Gwendolyn Blake and Warren Todman; daughters-in-law: Monica Browne-Todman and Diane Todman; sons-in-law: James Rodgers, Lawrence Sarauw, Arturo Monell and Charles James; pall bearers: Orville R. Todman Jr., Henry Todman, Robert Todman, Louis Brown, Dawes Todman and Allen Monell; honorary pall bearers: James Rodgers, Lawrence Sarauw, Arturo Monell, Charles James and Monroe Clendinen caregivers: Sylvia Felix, the Sea View Health Care Services; as well as many other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, at Lord God Sabaoth Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery Veterans section.
