Police Search for Woman Missing Almost Two Weeks



Akilah “Shawty” Charleswell has been missing since Aug. 12.Police continue to search for Akilah Charleswell, 26, who has been missing since Aug. 12.

She was last seen on that date at E&M grocery store in Hull Bay.

Charleswell is 5 feet tall and weighs about 110 pounds. Her hair is black and twisted into short locks. She is known by her nickname, "Shawty."

The matter is under active investigation, according to police spokeswoman Melody Rames. Police have been searching places that she was know to frequent, to no avail, Rames said.
