Verna Francis died on July 17, at her residence. She was 67 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Winston Francis Sr.; her children: Angela Hodge, Wayne Joseph, John Joseph, Norman Joseph, Cheryl Joseph, Pamela Venzen, Paula Venzen, Michael Joseph, Beatrice Ottley, Winston Francis Jr. and Devon Francis; stepchildren: Valencia and Corye Francis; 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Julien Donovan; sisters: Beatrice Callwood, Winifred Turnbull and Utha Oliver; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m., on Friday, July 31, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will be held from 8:30-10 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 1, at Christchurch Methodist. Interment will follow at Eastern Cemetery.
