Melecia Prince-Rodriquez of San Turce, Puerto Rico, better known as "Millie,"died on June 28, at her residence. She was 84 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Rodriquez Sr.; children: Virgina Prince-Milligan of St. Thomas, Sonya Prince of P.R., Gladys Walters of New York, Raymond Rodriquez Jr. and Maria Rodriquez of P.R. She is also survived by sister, Ruth Prince of St. Thomas; sister-in-law, Merian Prince of St. Thomas; eight grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives too numerous to mention.
Melecia was born on St. Thomas on March 20, 1925, and raised in Nisky. She went to Puerto Rico to look for work and had lived there until her passing. She was memorialized in P.R., on July 2.
She will be missed by her family. Rest in peace, mother.
