Norris Hugo Penn Jr. Dies in Florida

Norris Hugo Penn Jr. died on June 26, in Tallahassee, Florida. He was 23 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Delita F. Penn; father, Norris H. Penn Sr.; sisters: Rachel Stavros and Amanda Johnson; brothers: Duane, Daryl and Deryl McClean, Dwight Webbe and Nareem PennNorris Hugo Penn Jr.; and great grandmother, Eliza Turnbull.
He is also survived by sisters-in-law: Debra and Lyndsey McClean; aunts: Jenita Jackson, Millicent Penn, Iona Jones, Belsadys Skelton, Irene Bandoo, Audrey Rabsatt and Gracia Stevens; uncles: Tuluchi and Melton Farrington, Haran and Irad Penn; godparents: Hoiestine Chalwell, Alice Connor Canton, Dennis Leonard and Annette Magras; special family friend: Doroley Dawson; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 8-9 a.m., on Saturday, July 11, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will take place the same day at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m., at Cane Garden Bay Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Cane Garden Bay Cemetery.
For those persons wishing to attend the funeral, Smith’s Ferry will be leaving Red Hook at 8 a.m. and will return following the service. Ground transportation will be provided from the dock at West End to the church.
All funeral arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home, 774-1464.
