Regino Melendez Jr. Dies at 47

May 28, 2009 – Regino Melendez Jr., also known as "Lechón" of Hamilton Jackson Housing died on May 24. He was 47 years old.
He is survived by his spouse, Yolanda Ramos Melendez; daughters: Jahaira Melendez, Denise Young and Adrianna Bermudez; sons: Regino III and Neftali Melendez; grandchildren: Je'la, Jalene and Jillian Gonzalez, Nasir and Lilliana Melendez, Analiz and Mellisa Knight; and daughter-in-law, Lilia Ramsey. He is also survived by sisters: Anita and Candida Carmona, Lucia Carmona Carrasquillo and Sonia Rivera Ledesma; brothers: Jesus Alvarez, Jose Santana, Carmona and Moises Carmona; cousins: Blanky, Justino Elliote, Papo, Nyda, Tishie, Marlyn and Monica; special friends: Angel Rodriguez, Flor Concepcion, Eddie Morales and Olga Guadalupe; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, June 4, at the James Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Kingshill Cemetery.
