Boy Scouts Will Hold a Royak Regatta

The St. Thomas Boy Scouts, sponsored by Innovative, will hold a Royak Regatta that will start at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, May 17, at Magens Bay beach. The Royak Regatta is a relay race on water. Each team will use one royak, one paddle, two life jackets and wear the Regatta T-shirt as supplied by the race committee.
There is a $300 entry fee for each team, and a team is made up of five co-ed members.
Practices times are available during the two weeks prior.
If interested, contact the Virgin Islands Council Boy Scouts of America office at 774-2752 or e-mail nclark@bsamail.org for more details. Registrations are being accepted now and are due by May 13.
