April 23, 2009 — Continuing with his visits to elementary schools throughout the territory, Gov. John deJongh Jr. stopped in Thursday to read to second-grade students at Evelyn Marcelli School on St. Thomas.
DeJongh also toured the campus and visited with students in the special education class, according to a Government House news release.
The governor's visit also marks the observance of the Week of the Young Child, which began Monday and ends on Friday.
