STAR Hosts Annual Carnival Mile

April 17, 2009 – The St Thomas Association of Roadrunners (STAR) will host the 28th Annual Carnival Mile, which will begin at 7:30 a.m., on Saturday, May 2. The race will begin at the Western Cemetery on Main Street and finish at Roosevelt Park. There are seven age group categories with trophies for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers. T-shirts are available to the first 100 entrants.
Pre-registration is at Caribbean Surf Company: Red Hook Shopping Center, Havensight Mall, Royal Dane Mall and Antilles School Jackson Complex Wellness Center. Race day registration will be held from 6:30-7 a.m.; fees are $10 for adults, $5 for youth and $8 for STAR members. Proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross.
