Thatch Cay Defiled

Dear Source:

I was a resident of the East End of St. Thomas for many years. I spent a great deal of time boating in the area and part of Thatch was visible from my home. It greatly saddens me to hear that the once lovely, untouched cay will be defiled by construction. What more can St. Thomas do to destroy their own "back yard'? They started small with junked autos, huge overhead wires and tons of roadside trash. Not enough, I suppose! Let's really destroy it!
How many people, even residents, have seen the "sleeping dragon" on the North side of Thatch and seen the green copper stains on the cay? I will bet few if any of the senators who voted for this abomination have. Soon the Legislature and the illegals will take over completely to destroy "Paradise".
