Brief: WAPA Crews On Evans Highway Sunday

March 27, 2009 — Watch out for Water and Power Authority line crews while driving on St. Croix's Melvin H. Evans Highway Sunday.
Between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. WAPA will be repairing and replacing lights from the Golden Grove/Industrial Park intersection to the East Airport Road intersection. No electric service interruption in the area is anticipated, according to a WAPA statement. During work the right-hand lane on the east-bound side will be closed. For the safety of both linemen and motorists, WAPA is asking drivers to please be patient and careful driving around the work area Sunday.
