Meetings Planned for Summer Camp Operators

The Department of Human Services – Office of Child Care and Regulatory Services will conduct additional summer-camp, mass consultation meetings for those interested in operating summer programs. The meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, on Monday, March 23, at the Sugar Estate Head Start Center, and Tuesday, March 24, at the District Court in Christiansted.
Camp licensure requirements will be explained by agencies of the government including the Office of Child and Regulatory Services, Environmental Health, Fire Services, School Lunch, and the Department of Planning and Natural Resources.
The deadline for submitting camp applications and registration forms is April 30. No late registrations or applications will be accepted.
