The Fifth Constitutional Convention Schedules Videoconference Committee Meetings

Feb. 20, 2009 – The 5th Constitutional Convention of the Virgin Islands has released its schedule of videoconference committee meetings, which will be held Feb. 25 and 26.
Wednesday, Feb. 25 (Videoconference)
Committee on Citizenship/Virgin Islands' Rights/Environment
Chair – Delegate Kendall Petersen
Locations: Board of Education Offices on St. Croix – 2nd floor, Sunny Isles Business Building; Seventh Day Adventist Street on St. Thomas, across from Attorney Leonard Francis Office.
Time: 9-11 a.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 25 (Videoconference)
Committee on Legislative Branch
Chair – Delegate Dr. Eugene Petersen
Locations: University of the Virgin Islands, St. Croix Campus (North West 103); St. Thomas Campus (Business 101)
Time: noon to 2 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 26, (Videoconference)
Committee on Economic Development/Labor/Technology/Energy
Chair – Delegate Steadman Hodge Jr.
Locations: University of the Virgin Islands, St. Croix Campus (North West 103); St. Thomas Campus (Business 101)
Time: 9-11 a.m.
Thursday, Feb. 26 (Videoconference)
Committee on Preambles/Anthems/Symbols/Bill of Rights/Human Rights
Chair – Delegate Lois Hassell-Habtes Ph.D.
Locations: University of the Virgin Islands, St. Croix Campus (North West 103); St. Thomas Campus (Business 101)
Time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The general public is urged to attend all committee meetings and plenary sessions.
