Glanville Sylvester Murrain Dead at 52

Nov. 7, 2008 – Glanville Sylvester Murrain, also known as "DJ Comombo," of Tamarind Estate died on Nov. 1, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 52 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Christopher; companion, Shirley Guide-Fletcher; daughter, Reneice E. Murrain; step-grandchild, Ariadne Gore; sisters: Marie Murrain, Janet Henry, Jasminth Christopher, Christine Martin, Suzette Barton; and brothers: David, Cecil and Vaughn Christopher. He is also survived by sisters-in-law: Melareen J. and Olivette Christopher; brothers-in-law: Victor Henry, Johnny Barton and Evanson Martin; special friends: Olga M. Santiago, Norma Modeste, Willmoth Jarvis, Theophilus Christopher, Senator Usie Richards, Warren Henry, Stedroy Williams, Denfield Jones, Alvin G. Southwell, Dean Baptiste and Express Band, Digital Band, Joycelyn Hendrickson, Janet Dublin, Sarah and Sue Coates, and Rafael Berrios; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The family requests that persons attending the funeral service wear festive colors.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Sunny Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
