Dear Source:
He needs to compare it to another U.S. territory ex Hawaii, Puerto Rico etc, to actually see if the cost of shipping and independent grocery chains is what drives up the cost. Because just driving something across country and shipping something to an independent grocery store off the mainland must be significantly driving up the cost of doing business upwards. So I do not really respect his survey. We already know it is expensive to live home this is why we do not.
Are ppl only now coming to a realization that the V.I. is very expensive to live or are we going to conduct surveys in other territories to match the price of food. Besides Virgin Islanders always thought the food and products from the US would be better than what you can grow yourself or purchase from the West Indies. So as a result do not complain about the prices they will only keep going up.
V.I. to the Bone.
