Feb. 8, 2008 – The venue for the Spelling Bee Reception has been changed to the Alfredo Andrews Cafetorium instead of the Curriculum Center in Kingshill. It will still be held from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, according to a press release St. Croix District Language Arts Coordinator Charlene Matthew.
"The reception, which hosts spellers, coaches and parents, serves as an orientation session to provide participants and associated persons with pertinent information on the upcoming Bee. The 2008 Bee is slated to take place on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the Arthur A. Richards Junior High School beginning at 9:30 a.m.," said Matthew.
