Brief: Clean Up Rescheduled for Saturday

Oct. 30, 2007 — The clean-up effort rained out last weekend has been rescheduled for this Saturday, Nov. 3, according to St. John Administrator Leona Smith.
Participants will convene at 8 a.m. Saturday at Frank Powell Park and will spend the day painting curbs and taxi stand areas, power-washing streets, removing trash, raking scattered leaves and brush, cutting back overgrown tree branches, clearing walkways and raking beaches.
Members of the community interested in volunteering on the St. John Pretty initiative should contact the St. John administrator’s office at 776-6484.
