Brief: WAPA Upgrades Underground Cables on Main Street

Aug. 4, 2007 – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority advised St. Thomas customers Friday that Bryan’s Electrical Contracting Corporation will be pulling cables for the Feeder #12 Underground Cable Upgrade Project through early Monday morning.
Work will begin from Wet Willy’s to Market Square along Main Street. Most work will be done at night and no service interruption is expected.
Motorists are asked to obey all traffic directions in the area. The Authority apologizes for any inconvenience that may occur as a result of this service improvement effort.
