V.I. Bartender Olympics Will Raise Money for Animals
The Virgin Islands Bartender Olympics will take place from noon to 6 p.m., on Sunday, June 24, at Hotel on the Cay as a benefit for the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center. Bartenders and servers from throughout the territory will compete for cash, prizes, and the titles of "Best Bartender" and "Best Server." Rashidi will be the event announcer and there will be many crowd activities and events with great prizes and giveaways.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door and include admission, raffle ticket, ferry boat, food and a drink ticket. Bring cans of puppy or kitten food for an extra drink ticket. Purchase your tickets at Anna's Café, Tropical Java, or The Animal Shelter online at vibartenderolympics.com or at the participating bars, Shenigans, Fort Christian Brew Pub, Moonraker, Sharkey's Bait Stand or Chicken Charlie's Roadhouse.
