Labor Department Schedules Applications for Summer Work Programs

May 31, 2007 – The Virgin Islands Department of Labor's Division of Training will be on St. John at the Office of the Administrator to process applications for the 2007 Summer Work Experience Programs on the following dates:
Wednesday, May 30, at 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Thursday, June 7, at 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Tuesday, June 12, at 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday, June 13, at 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Thursday, June 14, at 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Monday, June 18, at 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Prospective applicants are ask to bring a birth certificate or proof of residency, social security card, copy of a WAPA or cable bill, and parents/guardian proof of income such as current check stubs or W2 forms.
