March 1, 2007 – The second in the series of the HOVENSA/VITA Junior Tennis Tournament Series will be held at the St. Thomas Racquet Club in Subbase from Friday, March 9, through Sunday, March 11. All junior tennis players are urged to participate in this event. Results will be used for ranking purposes, which help determine the Virgin Islands Tennis Association's Junior National Team for international play in the summer.
Age group categories are boy's and girl's age 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18 and under singles. Where sufficient participation merits, single elimination with a consolation will be used; otherwise, a round-robin format will be used in all age groups. All participants must be members of the United States Tennis Association in good standing (available at registration). Deadline for registration is 5 p.m., Tuesday, March 6.
