Feb. 23, 2007 – Avan Lewis, better known as "Hugh" or " Ras," died at his residence at Smith Bay on Feb. 15. He was 48 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Josephine Vidal; brothers: Martin Parillon, Khana Smith and Fordison Smith; sisters: Leeda Georges and Linda Roberts; many nephews and nieces; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held from 9-10 a.m., on Saturday, March 3, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. It will be followed immediately by a funeral service at 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery in Smith Bay.
