Jan. 24, 2007 – Mario Donovan, better known as "Rocky," died on Jan. 23, at the Sea View Nursing Home. He was 71 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Julien Donovan; sisters: Beatrice Callwood, Winifred Turnbull, Verna Francis and Utha Oliver. He is also survived by aunts: Olivia Carty, Caroline and Hulda Donovan, Elain Hollowman and Lucia Penn; special friend, Alton Vann; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing from 9-10 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 10, at Carrot Bay Methodist Church. A funeral service will follow, at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Upper Carrot Bay Cemetery.
