Creating Lasting Family Connections Program to Meet

Jan. 30, 2007 – Work-Able Inc. and its Prevention Coalition partners are offering a new program for families called Creating Lasting Family Connections. The first meeting of CLFC will be held at 5:30 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 1, at Midland Wesleyan Holiness Church, Calquohon, St. Croix.
The program is designed to improve the self-esteem and communication skills of youth ages 12-17 and their families, to help them be successful, to learn to stand up for themselves and to avoid alcohol, drugs, violence and other harmful behaviors.
Ted Strader, CLFC developer and the founder and executive director of the Council on Prevention and Education: Substances Inc., will be a special guest.
