Memorial to be Held Jan. 28 for Lynne A. Gale

Jan. 19, 2007 –– A memorial will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28 at Betsy's Bar for Lynne A. Gale, 55, who died Jan. 11 at Schneider Regional Medical Center.
Gale and her husband Gene owned Caribbean Steel on St. Thomas, a company Gene Gale had started in 1972, until they moved to Florida several years ago. They returned to St. Thomas in 2004, to be, as Lynne put it, "back home with the people we love."
Upon returning to the island, the Gales once again became part of a long-standing group of Frenchtown friends.
Gale was born in Boston, Ma., where she gained experience in the legal field. She was a paralegal and an associate of the American Bar Association. On St. Thomas, she was secretary/treasurer of Caribbean Steele.
She is survived by her husband, Gene; brother, Mark Decain; sister, Leah Poulx; and many friends including Linda Evans, Jimmy Magner, Bette and Sig Fossdal, Becky and Ted Luscz, Betsy Sheehan, Molly Morris and Debbie de Christophora, of Boston.
Arrangements are by John Thomas Memorial Chapel.
