Dec. 22, 2006 – Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority Customer Services Offices throughout the territory will be closed on Christmas Day, Monday, Dec. 25, and on Tuesday, Dec. 26. Regular hours (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) will resume from Wednesday through Friday. St. Thomas and St Croix Customer Services Offices will be open on Saturday, Dec. 30 from 8 a.m. to noon, according to a press release from WAPA.
Water standpipes throughout the territory will be closed on Monday. Standpipes on St. Thomas and St. John will be open on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to noon, but closed on St. Croix. Regular standpipe hours resume on all islands from Wednesday through Saturday.
